Wedding are a special but also stressful time for couples. So we don't see any harm in adding a fun, groovy and refreshing way to celebrate your love! A sangeet or reception night would be perfect to set the scene with a disco party. Disco-themed events are often associated with being too corny and over-the-top but there are definitely ways you can make them tasteful and and epic at the same time.

Think retro-inspired touches, flowing dresses, and a colour palette appropriate to the 70s.
Be a little (or very) extra with metallic footwear provided to all guests at the entry, a giant disco ball chandelier, sequin lined tables and maybe even a nostalgic menu featuring pinacoladas, fondue, black forest gateau, or other food and drinks popular at disco clubs during that era. Music, you ask? You can go completely 70s-inspired or simply go with music that makes you and your partner groove!
